LA. Best Seafood, LLC is a family owned and operated seafood distributor in the Greater New Orleans Area. Established in 2007.
Alex Cruz, President and CEO, has been in the Seafood industry for over 25 years. A family man and excellent customer service professional, Alex stays true to the vision of being the best in the business - always evolving to accommodate customers' needs. He treats all involved in his company operations with the highest respect and appreciation. For years, Alex and his family have earned the respect of crawfishermen, shrimp trawlers, and suppliers alike.
Val Sevin, Vice President of LA. Best Seafood, LLC has been in the seafood business for decades. He has extensive customer service and air cargo experience, with 35 years experience in planning and producing all aspects of Louisiana Crawfish Festivals and various special events . From logistics and personnel management, to booking name brand entertainment, Val Sevin is well tuned in to customer needs and expectations.
We Have a variety of products and are continuously adding new ones. This allows our customers to make the right buying decision for their needs.
Our products are warehoused in a 30,000 sq. ft. distribution center centrally located in Harahan, LA. Our warehouse is FDA certified and fully refrigerated with temperature control around the clock, and most importantly has HACCP certified quality control. Our processing operations in Louisiana have adopted and undergone stringent uniformity inspections to meet and exceed industry standards.
What differentiates us from our competitors is the integration of our operation from the shrimp and fish docks, to our processing facility and distributed with our own fleet of refrigerated trucks. We are fully equipped to fulfill all of your seafood needs!

I just wanted to thank your for the great crawfish I got from you last Thursday. I had 3 Sacks shipped via "airport to airport" to Chicago for a boil on Friday. Getting the crawfish from the airport went very smooth. The crawfish were healthy and very large and were a big hit. I'm from New Orleans and moved to Chicago Two years and a half ago. I met another family up here who moved to Chicago a number of years ago from Baton Rouge, LA. Having a boil was the obvious thing to do for our new friends and neighbors. We hope to do it again next year. Thank you again and look forward to crawfish again next year.
